Dandruf may begin at any age. Dandruf can affect healthy people, or it can be associated with medical problems. Some cases are genetically inherited. Earlier, skin care people made a distinction between oily and dry Dandruf. Dandruff , the shedding of dead skin cells from the scalp at an excessive rate, is the result of the normal growing process of the skin cells of the scalp.
